I’m a master’s student in Management Science at Tongji University, where I work with Professor Chao Zhang. I study how urban infrastructure and public services shape household environmental behavior.
My main project examines whether access to neighborhood recycling stations is associated with household waste-sorting behavior in Ningbo, China. I work with longitudinal operational records from smart recycling bins and am preparing the manuscript with collaborators.
I developed and maintain SECFC, an open-source R package that estimates carbon footprints from lifestyle survey responses. I built the package and its documentation website to help researchers calculate the emissions associated with the behaviors they study.
My other work includes a meta-analysis of carbon labeling and consumer choices, currently under major revision at PNAS Nexus. I also work with Kristian Steensen Nielsen on a project on personal climate agency, contributing to data analysis and visualization.
I’m seeking PhD opportunities beginning in Fall 2027.
